i’ve been putting over posting this recipe because my picture is gross, that chunk of turkey is weird, and i just felt like everyone would hate it. i doubt anyone reallllllly cares that much? and this recipe is super easy & yummy so it’s rude of me not to share! ⁣ for any sort of lettuce wrap, but romaine hearts. they are so much easier than trying to peel a head of lettuce without ripping it or being stressed about it. the romaine hearts are perfectly sized and you just kinda pop them off! ⁣ also, i am not a fan of peanut/peanut butter flavored real food. like i love peanut butter with my whole heart but not mixed w meat or warm?? for this recipe, i decided to step out of my comfort zone and i am SO glad i did!!! ⁣ ingredients: ⁣ • 1/4 c peanut butter ⁣ • 3 tbs soy sauce⁣ • 2 tbs rice vinegar ⁣ • 1 tsp sesame oil ⁣ • 1 tsp lemon juice ⁣ • olive oil⁣ • 1 chopped onion ⁣ • 1 v large scoop of garlic⁣ • 1 tbs spicy red chili paste ⁣ • 1 lb ground turkey ⁣ • 1 c shredded carrots ⁣ directions:⁣ • mix up that first chunk of ingredients and set it aside ⁣ • in a large pan, heat your olive oil and add onion, garlic and chili paste. cook for about 3 minutes. ⁣ • add turkey and cook until done. about 7 minutes. ⁣ • stir in carrots and pour sauce over turkey mixture. cook for about 3 more minutes. ⁣ for meal prepping purposes: ⁣ • scoop your turkey mixture into 5 tupperwares ⁣ • pack yourself two romaine pieces a day. i have a nice long tupperware i use. ⁣ • warm up your meat and add it to your lettuce! ⁣ • i packed myself sriracha to top my wraps each day. i think i liked it spicier because it kind of canceled out the peanut flavor a little! ⁣ • enjoy :) ⁣ #homecooking #mealprep #turkeywrap #easyrecipe #healthycooking
