my #1 most favorite food is sushi. i could eat it for legit every single meal. for awhile, the town i lived in didn’t have a sushi restaurant. safeway sushi is decent, but all sushi is just expensive. i wanted to meal prep sushi so i made this little sushi bowl.⠀ ⠀ as far as packing this for lunch. i stored every ingredient prepped and ready in different tupperwares, then threw it all together the morning of. other than the sauce and seaweed. i kept them apart until i was ready to eat. ⠀ ⠀ ingredients:⠀ • white rice⠀ • imitation crab ⠀ • cucumber – sliced ⠀ • bag of shredded carrots (in this pic i decided to shred my own carrots, but that’s a lot of work)⠀ • seaweed (you can find this in the Asian isle)⠀ • avocado (missed it in this pic)⠀ • mayo ⠀ • sriracha or chili paste ⠀ directions ⠀ • cook your rice ⠀ • get everything else washed, sliced, prepped ⠀ • you can make your sriracha mayo ahead of time, but i just mixed it the morning of to dirty less dishes⠀ • when eating, i ripped my seaweed sheet into little pieces ⠀ • you can add as much or as little of each ingredient as you’d like ⠀ ⠀ this is an old picture that i wouldn’t really say is up to my standard, but i really wanted to share this recipe with you. i hope you don’t hate me for bad picture quality and forgotten ingredients!⠀ ⠀ #homecooking #mealprep #diysushi
