asian cuisine as a whole is one of my weaknesses. i love sushi, lo mein, crab rangoons & of course s t i r f r y!! as a college student, i don’t have the money to eat out! but, that’s kind of a plus. when you make your own food you 100% know what’s going to go in your body. yes, going to panda is a little easier, but this recipe is fool proof & will give you multiple meals!! ingredients: • butter • 2 eggs • 1 onion • 1 c frozen peas & carrots • 4/5 tablespoons minced garlic (i love garlic) • 4 c cooked rice (i like brown) • 4 tablespoons soy sauce • 1/2 teaspoon toasted seasame oil directions: • in a large skillet, add a spoonful of butter & scramble your eggs, then set them aside • add another spoonful of butter, your onion, peas & carrots. sauté until soft (5 minutes) • turn your heat on high and add a large scoop of butter, after melted add rice and soy sauce • cook for about 5 minutes (you’re frying your rice right here) • stir in egg & seasame oil • that’s it!! this recipe is SO easy & SO good! if you want to add some meat, get a bottle of teriyaki sauce, marinate some chicken & pan fry that! toasted seasame oil is a little pricey but soooooo worth it!! you only ever use a little (seriously don’t use a lot) and that’s what gives you an authentic flavor. think of expensive ingredients as an investment. invest in yourself. you’re worth it!! also, i have so many ideas but i don’t want to annoy you guys. how much do you want to see? are their specific things you want to see? do you want to see how i coupon/save money? do you want to see my favorite cooking utensils? let me know ☺️☺️ #homecooking #stirfry #savemoney #mealprep #asiancuisine #easy #cheap
