all i have been wanting lately is spicy food!! i have been throwing hot sauce on literally everything, and it just hasn’t been enough spice. so, i decided i’ll make buffalo chicken lettuce wraps for lunch this week. i had such a great plan. i got some baby bell cheese, spread it on my lettuce hearts, and threw some buffalo chicken on it. ⠀ ⠀ SO MUCH SPICE!! that is why you are looking at buffalo chicken ‘tacos’. the tortilla def helped cancel out some of the spice. i just spread some cheese on the shell and chopped up my lettuce. my craving is now gone so kind of a win, right? ⠀ ⠀ this buffalo chicken is just like a base recipe that you could turn into so many things: wraps, sandwiches, salads, tacos and more. also, it is a crockpot recipe and honestly god surely blessed us with crockpots!⠀ ⠀ ingredients:⠀ •4 chicken breasts⠀ •12 oz franks red hot sauce ⠀ •quick little sprinkle of these seasonings: garlic, salt, pepper, onion powder and dill⠀ •1 cup cream cheese⠀ ⠀ directions:⠀ •add all ingredients except cream cheese to crockpot and cook on high for 4 hours ⠀ •after 4 hours, shred chicken, add cream cheese and cook for another 30 minutes ⠀ •boom. you’re done.
