i feel like i have been posting a lot of these baby steps post so let that be a sign that veggies are so easy to be made in yummy ways where they don’t feel as vegetable-y. like this recipe – carrot fries – where you can eat veggies in a little more fun of a way.⠀ so here’s the thing about cooked carrots, i think they’re gross. i would much rather have them raw with some ranch and never have i been like oh yum cooked carrots. this recipe has changed that. these carrots taste so good. we can’t fool ourselves, these don’t actually taste like french fries, but honestly they are so delish and i would 10/10 recommend trying them ⠀ ingredients: ⠀ •2 pounds of large carrots, peeled and cut into fry style⠀ •olive oil⠀ •salt and pepper ⠀ •sprinkle cheese⠀ directions:⠀ •ok i already told you to cut the carrots, but this step can be kind of tedious. don’t worry if all your fries don’t look the same, just go with it. ⠀ •preheat your oven to 425 and line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil ⠀ •lay out your carrots, drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle salt, pepper and cheese on top. give them a little mix ⠀ •cook for 20-30 minutes, depending on how charred you like things. be sure to check them halfway through and give them another mix ⠀ #homecooking #babysteps #eatathome #carrotfries #eathealthy
