hi welcome to another installment of baby steps. today we are talking about green beans and popcorn seasoning. its that easy. its delicious. you’re going to roast these green beans, which really kinda changes the texture and adds a lot of flavor. ⠀ disclaimer: using your own combination of spices is going to be better, but i saw this while scrolling through pinterest and i was like omg the college student veggies, so i took one for the team and tried this one out. worth it.⠀ obviously, i used garlic parm, but you could really use any type of seasoning. i think the ranch one would be super yummy too! if you want less flavor, but still deliciousness, just use salt, pepper and garlic powder! ⠀ ingredients: ⠀ •fresh green beans (you can buy a prepackaged bag or bag some of your own up – maybe around a pound?)⠀ •olive oil⠀ •salt and pepper ⠀ directions:⠀ •preheat oven to 425 ⠀ •trim up your beans a little if needed, taking off the yucky ends ⠀ •line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil ⠀ •toss your green beans in olive oil, salt and pepper, and seasoning (you can see how seasoned they are by just tasting some of the seasoned olive oil on the side of the bowl – obvi not gonna taste delicious but you’ll wanna give it a taste) ⠀ •roast for 30-40 minutes. after the first 20 minutes, you’re really good to take them out whenever. i like them super roasted. after the 30 minutes, check about every 5 minutes just so they don’t burn too bad ⠀ #homecooking #easyrecipe #eatyourveggies #greenbeans #healthyeating #eatathome
